Part of making the most of your health care coverage is understanding how your plan pays your claims and what your role is in that process. To do this, PAI provides you with an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) whenever you or your provider files a claim for your health care benefits.
Your EOB provides important information, such as: claims processed; health care services you have received; how much your health plan covered for these services; how much you may owe your provider; and much more.
