Your plan uses the Advanced Choice Pharmacy Network for pharmacy and prescription drug benefits. This network can help you save on prescription costs.
The network includes all CVS/pharmacy, Walmart, and Kroger locations plus various grocers and independent pharmacies. In addition to these, many independent pharmacies also take part in this prescription program.
View the Advanced Choice South Carolina Retail Pharmacy Network. (Note: Walgreens is not in the Advanced Choice Network.)
To transfer your prescriptions, just provide the label information from a prescription bottle to a Caremark Advanced Choice Network pharmacy and they will take care of the rest.
If members don’t present their ID cards or they don’t use network pharmacies, they’ll have to file a prescription drug claim form and they may not be reimbursed for the full amount they paid.
Note: Not all benefit plans are the same. Members who want to use a national chain pharmacy should know that their benefit may restrict the pharmacies that they use. Members should always check with their pharmacies to see if it is part of our network before they have their prescriptions filled.
