Pharmacy Information

PAI also administers pharmacy benefits utilizing its preferred pharmacy benefit manager Caremark. Caremark's pharmacy networks feature deep discounts from average wholesale prices. Plans can be structured with tiered co-payments to encourage use of generic and preferred brand drugs, or mail order where possible. When group members show their ID cards at participating pharmacies, they don't have to file claims or wait for reimbursement. PAI also administer pharmacy benefits using other pharmacy benefit managers including Benescript, Premier Pharmacy Plan, Express Scripts, and PartnersRx.
