Health Management

When members have questions or need immediate medical advice, they can call 24-hour Nurse Advisor toll free at 1-866-645-0304 and speak directly with a registered nurse.
During the call, our nurses will:
·         Assess your symptoms.
·         Suggest a self-care plan, if appropriate.
·         Direct you to a physician.
·         Direct you to emergency or urgent care, when necessary.
For plan members facing serious illness or injury, this program provides an RN care coordinator who acts as an advocate for the member and his or her family.

For example, the program will help patients with serious primary diagnoses, such as cancer and other significant health problems, coordinate care they receive from multiple specialists and other providers, and address personal concerns ranging from disruption of family relationships to financial worries.
